BGR

The Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) is Germany’s federal geological survey and contributes expertise in applied geosciences, reservoir characterization, and the assessment of critical raw materials. BGR has conducted research on direct lithium extraction from deep fluids in Germany, particularly through the Li+Fluids project.

• Research on brine reinjection and reservoir sustainability.
