SERNAGEOMIN

The National Service of Geology and Mining (SERNAGEOMIN) is Chile’s governmental technical agency responsible for geology, mining, and mineral resources. Within BRIDGE, it participates as a strategic partner supporting the geological characterization of reservoirs and the assessment of critical resource potential associated with salt flats and hydrothermal systems.

Role in the project

• Participation in the international steering committee.
• Technical support in the identification and characterization of geological reservoirs.
• Integration of national geological information and territorial analysis.
• Collaboration in the assessment of demonstration sites and fluid-associated mineral resource potential.
• Institutional coordination with Chilean public policies and mining/geological regulations.
