This work line includes the geological, hydrogeological, geochemical, and structural characterization of salt flats, geothermal reservoirs, and other brine-rich systems in order to understand the processes controlling the distribution, concentration, and mobility of elements of interest such as lithium, potassium, manganese, and strontium.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition, it incorporates numerical modeling tools to evaluate solute transport, water-rock interactions, and the long-term effects associated with resource exploitation, including clogging risks, hydrochemical changes, and reservoir sustainability.
